Everyone loves Christmas but all the preparations can be exhausting. Who has time for all the shopping, wrapping and preparation it entails. I have to admit that used to fill me with dread the “Secret Santa” challenge. Buy a present for a colleague in the office on a budget without causing a major breadown in relations. It can be so difficult to buy a gift for someone you don’t know very well, and maybe don’t even like that much ! This is where the #sdfiverchallenge comes in – why not take the stress out of the shopping with a choice of £5 gifts from sports direct online. Get your presents sorted without even leaving the comfort of your favourite sofa. I was tasked with finding 2 gifts for £5 each on the sports direct website this year and thought that finding gifts for a secret santa would be ideal. The site has absolutely loads of sports gifts as you would expect but I was surprised to find a good selection of suitable gifts for everyone. There was also a good price range. You can filter by gift ideas and category if you are looking for inspiration. If you are on a budget then you can search by price.
There were quite a few things that I didn’t think fitted in the gift category but you can just scroll past those and look for something to suit you. There was a huge choice you wouldn’t find in-store but you really do need to filter out the categories. There are quite a few things I would class as “stocking fillers” in the under £5 category. I decided on this cute umbrella which is really appropriate for our weather and thought it would be a fun item for my sister and also suitable for a work colleague.
Looking for something else I turned to gifts for my teenage daughter which may also be suitable for the office junior. Most teenagers seem obsessed with tech which wasn’t going to work on a budget so I took a look at the toiletries available. I was lucky to find this Victoria’s secret fragrance mist down to £5. It has now gone back up to £7 on the site which shows you do need to grab your bargains when you can. This will make a great stocking filler as it is a brand that is popular at the moment.
Delivery is £4.99 so it would be worth buying a few things at the same time. You can do click and collect from store and when you collect your parcel in-store you’ll receive a £5 voucher to spend in store. You’ll be given your voucher by the store staff when you collect your parcel. I opted for home delivery and the parcel arrived in about 4-5 days, well packaged and in good condition.
